The College of Engineering Career Development Center will be hosting the Spring 2012 Career Expo on Wednesday,
February 29, 2012 from 12:30 – 4:30 pm on the 1st floor of Nitschke Hall. Engineering students in the co-op program
can view companies attending as well as majors they are interviewing for co-op and/or full-time positions by going
into their Interfase profile and clicking on the link. You need to have an approved resume in Interfase to view the
companies attending. Registration for the career expo will take place upon arrival to the expo at the end of the hallway
near the elevators and main entrance. NOTE: There is a dress code for the career expo. Dress clothes (including suit,
tie and dress shoes) are required for entrance to the expo. ANY STUDENT, whether you are interviewing or not,
wearing anything except professional attire, will not be permitted entrance to the expo. Our objective is that all
of our students present a professional image when visiting the building for the expo. Classes that take place that day
in the main hallway rooms will be moved to another room. If you have any questions, please contact 419-530-8050

Course registrations after the end of the on-line add period will require signatures of the instructor and the Dean of your college. Course registrations after the add/drop period for each Part of Term must be requested on the Request for Non-Funded Late Registration form and have the additional signature of the appropriate Provost/Chancellor; Main Campus, UH 3340; Health Science Campus, MLB 0213.

Important note about Open Session Courses:
Drop and withdrawal dates are prorated for flexibly scheduled courses that do not meet during the standard start/stop dates of the term. To add, drop or withdraw from a course after the last day to add or drop via the posted web dates, visit Rocket Solution Central (RSC) in Rocket Hall, Room 1200 to complete the registration adjustment with a course request form. Signatures are required to add a course once the class begins.

The College of Engineering scholarship application for continuing students is now available by visiting the scholarship link below.
Students that are currently receiving an engineering scholarship are required to fill out this application in order to renew their scholarship.
Students that are not currently receiving an engineering scholarship, but would like to be considered for one are also required to submit this application.

UT BIOE Students featured in Ohio Engineer Magazine January 18, 2011

UT Bioengineering students’ participation in the NASA project was selected to be featured on the cover of the Ohio Engineer magazine. Special thanks to Dr. Ron Fournier for encouraging and mentoring the students as the faculty advisor for the project and Dr. Dean Demetropoulos, Associate Research Professor of Bioengineering for accompanying the team as the faculty mentor during the flight phase.
Also to note in this issue, 3rd year student Zach Reaver was mentioned for receiving a scholarship renewal!
